Did you know that 65% of parents in the U.S. report feeling lonely while raising their kids? Parenting can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, but it can also feel incredibly isolating.
When I started this platform, I wanted to change that. I believe no parent should feel like they have to do it all alone. Because the truth is: it takes a village to raise a child—and many parents today are raising kids without that village around them.
My Story and Why This Matters
As someone who grew up in a family of ten children in Costa Rica, I know firsthand the value of connection, support, and resilience. I also learned the importance of communication and teamwork—not just within the family, but with caregivers, grandparents, teachers, and everyone involved in raising a child.
Over the past 15+ years working with more than 100 children and their families, including diplomats and Hollywood households, I’ve seen the same story repeat itself: parents doing everything they can, yet feeling exhausted and disconnected. And here’s the truth—parenting was never meant to be a solo journey, no matter your resources.
Why Parents Feel Lonely
Parents feel lonely because:
- The daily struggles often happen behind closed doors, even in homes full of support staff.
- Social media highlights the “perfect” side of parenting, not the real side.
- Modern life doesn’t always provide the strong networks of grandparents, neighbors, and extended families that previous generations relied on.
Rebuilding the Village
That’s why I created this platform. My mission is to be part of that “village” again—helping parents feel supported, heard, and equipped. Through parent coaching and family guidance, I help parents, caregivers, and everyone involved in a child’s life work together to build a healthier, stronger dynamic.
Some of the areas I focus on include:
- Creating personalized routines so both parents and children thrive
- Strengthening communication so kids listen and follow through
- Encouraging patience and imagination through the value of healthy boredom
- Aligning caregivers, grandparents, and parents as one unified team
This isn’t about perfection—it’s about building trust, creating systems that actually work, and nurturing a supportive environment for children to flourish.
